The scanner is already set up and ready to use. Simply plug it in, power it on, and connect it to Wi-Fi.

  1. Place the document face down (so you’re looking at the back) into the paper tray, bottom-first.
  2. Select the “Momentum Works” icon.
  3. A confirmation button will appear—click “Continue.”
  4. The document will automatically feed through the scanner and arrive at its destination.
  • Yes, absolutely! We recommend scanning once per day to make it easier on you.
  • The scanner is configured so that even if you feed numerous documents in one scan, each document will arrive as an individual PDF.
  1. Scan your individual documents first.
  2. Once done, a screen will appear allowing you to select resolution, file format, etc.         
  3. Place the multi-page document in the paper tray.
  4. Select “File Format” and change it to “PDF (Multi Page)”.
  5. Scan the document. The setting will revert back to single PDFs for your next scan

Anything with a dollar amount on it!  If you’re unsure, it’s always better to send it! Here are examples of documents we need:

  • Parts invoices
  • Credit memos
  • Invoices/receipts related to shop expenses
  • Bills
  • Statements (bank, credit card, parts vendors, etc.)
  • Check stubs
  • Bank deposit slips (showing a breakdown of cash vs. checks)

Don’t print and scan email documents. Simply forward them to your HubDoc email. If you need this email resent, reach out to a team member.

We can grant you access to your HubDoc portal where all documents are stored. You can also use the OCR search feature to find specific words or numbers.

Troubleshooting

Basic Steps for Any Scanner Issue:

  1. Turn off the scanner.
  2. Unplug it and let it sit for 5 minutes.

  3. Plug it back in and reconnect to Wi-Fi (see instructions below).

  4. If the issue persists, follow the Wi-Fi troubleshooting steps or contact our team.

Fixing Wi-Fi Connection Issues:

  1. Go to Settings > Network Settings > Wi-Fi Setup.
  2. Select your router and disconnect.
  3. Turn off the scanner, unplug it, and wait 5 minutes.
  4. Plug it back in, turn it on, and reconnect to Wi-Fi:
    • Go to Settings > Network Settings > Wi-Fi Setup.
    • Choose your router and select Change Settings.
    • Select Wi-Fi Setup Wizard.
    • Find your network, enter credentials, and select Start Setup.
